Irma Kvlividze was born in 1969 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She studied painting and restoration of art at the Georgian Academy of Fine Arts and also studied icon painting in Greece under the guidance of famous Greek masters. During her studies, she visited many Orthodox monasteries. Subsequently, she took part in the painting of many churches in different places in Greece and also in Italy and Switzerland. Her personal style was formed under the influence of both modern painting and Byzantine iconography as well.
